Overview

DOUBLEUSOFT was founded by Amnon Liberman as a thinking forum for raising new ideas of using the web. The experienced web developers felt that there are still many untouched aspects in the areas that need to be discovered. time DOUBLEUSOFT has evolved to a framework of doing business. Taking on projects with relative high complexity, such as a b2b distribution platform and a community hosting and eCommerce. DOUBLEUSOFT is also supporting existing sites, upgrading and building new functionality.

In the development process we devote significant amount of time to the analysis phase in the project life cycle. Not a single line of code is written before the needs of the clients and the processes involved in the operation the application are fully understood and agreed upon with the client. However we do allow slack for feedback and development iterations.

Usability

The true test of many applications is usability. At DOUBLEUSOFT this is the flag of development. There is no point in developing an application that would never be used. Ease of use, simple and intuitive work flow are the most important goals in development and delivery. Moreover educating the clients of different possibilities and allowing them high in involvement in decision making promises the desired results. DOUBLEUSOFT is taking extra care also of the things that do not meet the eye.

Methodology

After the analysis process is finished and extra weight is given to development methodology. Maintaining strict naming convention, breaking the application to components, separation of display and data are only part of the methods that are followed. N Tier development is not only a buzz word at DOUBLEUSOFT. Distributing the processes in such way that each platform is doing its intended work is a normal procedure. Taking the full advantage of each element in the environment to, maximize performance, reusability and ease of maintenance.

Post Implementation

After the development is finished a significant time is devoted for thorough testing. Making sure that most possible scenarios of live running application would be met in a controlled environment. At DOUBLEUSOFT "accidents" are simply not welcome. When testing is over the client's users are being trained and a manual of operation is delivered with the launch. DOUBLEUSOFT continues to follow the applications which we developed monitor for performance and errors. Making sure that everything is OK, in the years to follow, is a normal practice
